Stepping Up for the Alzheimer’s Society: Tracey Martin Takes on Trek26

At RSS Infrastructure, we’re thrilled to support one of our own, Tracey Martin, who takes on an incredible challenge to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. On 24 May 2025, Tracey will embark on Trek26 Northumberland Coast, walking a challenging 26 miles to raise £600 for a cause that makes a real difference.

Exploring the Northumberland Coast

Tracey’s journey will start in the scenic town of Alnmouth, taking her along the England Coastal Path through picturesque fishing villages and the beautiful sands of Alnmouth Beach. The route offers stunning views and peaceful stretches along the River Aln before heading inland towards Warkworth, where trekkers will pass the historic Warkworth Castle and the serene River Coquet.

For the final leg, participants will return along the coastal path, enjoying breathtaking views as they head towards the finish line.

While the scenery promises to be spectacular, this trek is no walk in the park. The 26-mile route is mostly flat, with an elevation gain of 490m, but the rugged, uneven terrain requires sturdy, well-worn walking boots. It’s a rewarding challenge for anyone willing to take it on.

Supporting the Alzheimer’s Society

Dementia is a condition that affects millions of people across the UK, often turning lives upside down for both those diagnosed and their loved ones. The Alzheimer’s Society is dedicated to improving lives today and creating hope for the future.

The charity provides practical and emotional support for those impacted by dementia, campaigns to ensure dementia remains a priority, and funds innovative research to one day stop the condition in its tracks. By taking part in Trek26, Tracey is helping to support these efforts and make a difference in people’s lives.

Join Tracey in Making a Difference

Trek26 is an exciting way to unite people for a great cause, and Tracey is determined to make her efforts count. She’s aiming to raise £600 for Alzheimer’s Society, and every donation helps bring the charity closer to its goals.

Whether you donate, spread the word, or encourage Tracey for the big day, your support is invaluable. Together, we can help build a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

A Community Effort

At RSS Infrastructure, we’re passionate about making a positive impact through our infrastructure projects or by supporting meaningful initiatives like this one. We’re proud to see Tracey stepping up to make a difference and can’t wait to cheer her on.
