“I would like to thank everyone for their dedication to achieving this goal. This important milestone caps off another successful year for RSS Infrastructure, which saw the company win or retain key frameworks while growing its reputation and capabilities.”
RSS Infrastructure has successfully passed its Principal Contractors Licence (PCL) audit and has been awarded a PCL by Network Rail. We can now operate as a principal contractor in the UK rail sector. The on-track team delivered a perfect job, and no non-conformances were raised during the audit. The company can now take on larger and more complex rail projects, giving it greater control and increased efficiency on-site.

RSS Infrastructure is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a PCL by Network Rail, allowing the company to operate as a principal contractor in the UK rail sector. The Rail Operations team worked hard to make this happen, particularly John Byrne and Simon Capper, who coordinated and managed the project from start to finish. The on-track team delivered a perfect job, and no non-conformances were raised during the audit.
The re-railing task was effectively managed and well-arranged on-site. The auditor was satisfied with the company’s technical capabilities and health & safety credentials. The PCL will give RSS Infrastructure greater control and increased on-site efficiency, enabling the company to take on larger, more complex rail projects.
The success of the PCL audit is a testament to the entire team’s hard work, from the Directors to the teams out on track. The company can now progress and open up opportunities for larger and more complex projects. This important milestone caps off another successful year for RSS Infrastructure, which saw the company win or retain key frameworks while growing its reputation and capabilities.
The successful PCL audit and award demonstrate the company’s technical capabilities and health & safety credentials. The PCL will enable us to take on larger, more complex rail projects, giving it greater control and increased on-site efficiency.
