Dawn and Dusk Surveys are crucial as they capture unique ecological data about nocturnal and crepuscular species — active primarily during twilight (some birds, bats, badgers, etc). These times of day are critical for observing certain wildlife behaviours that are not evident during other hours. For projects in or near natural habitats, understanding the presence and activities of these species is essential. This knowledge aids in mitigating potential negative impacts on these creatures. By conducting these surveys, we can implement measures to protect these species, ensuring that your project progresses in an environmentally responsible manner, in line with regulatory requirements and ethical considerations for wildlife conservation.
