We Support the Armed Forces Community
We are signatories to the Armed Forces Covenant which is an initiative that calls on businesses and individuals to support the Armed Forces community. This includes providing opportunities and support for ex-military personnel and their families as they transition to civilian life.
Through this initiative, companies like RSS Infrastructure work to raise awareness of the issues faced by the Armed Forces community and provide meaningful support, resulting in positive impacts for both the community and the businesses involved.
Supporting the Armed Forces Community
At RSS Infrastructure, we recognise and appreciate the valuable skills and traits that members of the Armed Forces community possess. We understand the importance of the principles of discipline, precision, pride, determination, and remaining calm under pressure, as we value these characteristics in our company.
Armed Forces Covenant
RSS Infrastructure has supported the Armed Forces Covenant for many years. We have worked with the Armed Forces community to establish a training programme, mentoring, work experience, and policies that offer benefits to those currently serving. We have raised thousands of pounds through fundraising and encouraged our clients and suppliers to join us in supporting this important cause. Our efforts led to the company being awarded the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award in 2019 as part of the Employer Recognition Scheme.
What is the Armed Forces Covenant?
The Armed Forces Covenant aims to encourage individuals and organisations to support the Armed Forces community, acknowledge and remember the sacrifices made by the Armed Forces, and promote activities that help members of the Armed Forces integrate into local life. It also encourages Armed Forces members to support the wider community, promote understanding and awareness of the challenges faced by former members of the Armed Forces as they transition to civilian life.
Careers with RSS Infrastructure
For those seeking to move from military to civilian life, RSS Infrastructure can offer an excellent opportunity. We have joined forces with INFRA Skills, which is a member of Auctus Management Group, and are working alongside the Career Transition Partnership and the Armed Forces Covenant. Our goal is to equip individuals with the essential skills and qualifications to embark on a successful career in the rail industry. We take pride in being a recruiter that welcomes and supports ex-service leavers, veterans, and their families.
